How to call to an international cell/mobile phone

Call your traveling family member or friend at no cost to yourself by using the toll-free calling service.

Here's what to do:

  1. You need the phone number of your traveling family member or friend.
  2. Dial the toll-free number for the country you are in:

    US & Canada: 1-866-305-6462
    Australia: 1-800-261-038
    France: 0805-101-177
    Germany: 0800-000-6485
    United Kingdom: 0800-376-5637

  3. When prompted, enter the phone number of your traveling family member or friend.
  4. If the phone is not on, busy or outside the coverage areas your call will be redirected to voicemail. They will be notified of a new voicemail next time they use their phonecard account.

Please note: You can only use the toll free calling service from the United States, Australia, Canada, France, Germany or United Kingdom. A per minute surcharge may apply to the account of your family member or friend when they receive the call.

How to leave a voicemail to a Global Phonecard account

Leave a voicemail for your traveling family member or friend’s Global Phonecard account at no cost to yourself.

Here's what to do:

  1. You need the Global Phonecard account number of your traveling family member or friend.
  2. Dial the toll free access number for the country you are in:

    United States: 1-888-310-4168
    Canada: 1-888-566-9655
    Australia: 1-800-786-070
    France: 0800-905-281
    Germany: 0800-182-7643
    United Kingdom: 0800-028-9653

  3. When prompted enter the Global Phonecard account number of your traveling family member or friend.
  4. Follow the prompts and record a voicemail message. They will be notified of a new voicemail next time they use their phonecard account.

Please note: A per minute surcharge will apply to the account of your family member or friend when they listen to your voicemail message.
